The No Tool Bunk Beds - Twin over twin; converts to a twin over double The No-Tool Bunk Beds have minimum assembly requirements. The side rails and double bed extension ( for the lower bunk) just hook together. There are cross slats that support plywood which works as a box spring and the top bunk pegs to the lower bunk with metal bunk pegs. A rubber mallet is the only tool that you might need to ensure that the hooks grab the way they should. Double bed: 56" wide x 82" long Twin bed: 44 1/4" wide x 82" long overall size: 72" high x 82" long x 61" wide. Shown with painted finish, but many custom finishes both waxed, painted or stained are available.
